Chad is a Professional Mining Engineer who spent 13 years as a successful gold mining analyst. Prior to joining Victoria as its CEO he was the head of Mining Investment Banking at Blackmont Capital Inc. Chad is uniquely positioned to lead Victoria’s growth with his advanced understanding of the gold industry and his background as a mining engineer.

John McConnell
Director
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
John is a Professional Mining Engineer with extensive operating experience, something that is of huge value to Victoria as we move our projects forward. During John’s career he has worked for Placer Development Limited, Cominco Ltd, Strathcona Mineral Services, Breakwater Resources, De Beers Canada Inc. and most recently was the President and CEO of Western Keltic Mines Inc. until its takeover by Sherwood Copper Corp. John is also a Director of Silver Eagle Mines Inc.

Marty Rendall
Chief Financial Officer
Marty joined Victoria in 2007 as the Chief Financial Officer. Marty was previously employed by De Beers Canada where he most recently held the position of Senior Financial Analyst. Previous to that he was a Financial Analyst for Breakwater Resources.

Dr. Marcus K. Johnston
Chief Geologist
Marcus was one of the first geologists on Victoria’s Nevada exploration team, joining in February 2004. Prior to joining Victoria, Marcus worked for Newmont Mining Corporation, spending time in Newmont’s Mines Geology group on the Carlin Gold Belt, and with Newmont’s Generative Exploration group. Marcus continues to research the genesis of and relationships between various deposit types, with emphasis on Carlin-type gold deposits.

Mark Ayranto
VICE PRESIDENT CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT
Mark joined the Victoria management team in 2009 as Vice President Corporate Development. Previously he also held the role of Vice President Corporate Development with StrataGold Corporation. Mark holds a B.Sc. from Dalhousie and a MBA from Royal Roads University.

Mike Padula
Project Manager- eagle gold project
Mr. Padula is responsible for managing the development of the Eagle Gold Project through Feasibility studies and construction. Mr. Padula is a Project Management Professional with over 20 years experience. Most recently, Mr. Padula worked for Western Keltic Mines as Engineering Manager for the development of the Kutcho Project Pre-Feasibility Study. Previously, Mr. Padula worked for De Beers Canada Inc. on the Snap Lake Project where he established the project’s business development office, negotiated impact benefit agreements and was a senior member of the owner’s project management team.

John Goyman
VP- Nevada projects
John has extensive permitting and project development expertise including former postings as Regional Director of the British Columbia Ministry of Mines, Owner’s Construction Manager for Newmont Mining Corporation’s Hope Bay Project, Vice President Construction and Operations of Western Keltic Mines Inc. and Manager of the Owners Team for De Beers Canada Snap Lake Mine Development.

Dr. Raul Madrid
CONSULTANT
Raul is a specialist in sedimentary-rock-hosted, epithermal and mesothermal gold deposits. He has developed breakthrough proprietary exploration techniques with a focus on structural geology. Application of these techniques was instrumental in the discovery of numerous gold deposits in Columbia, Spain and Nevada. Raul’s experience includes eight years with the United States Geological Survey where he led the Disseminated Gold Project. He subsequently worked in Colombia for five years and was the President and Chairman of the Board of Conquistador Mines Limited.
